We are looking for a professional to join our team as Operations & Supply Chain Planner.
In this role you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end supply cycle by integrating Demand & Production Planning, International Trade, Procurement, and Logistics. This role is responsible for synchronizing the local and international supply chain, managing strategic rum inventories and logistics to meet market demand, while performing direct physical oversight at co-packer facilities and ensuring operational tax compliance. You will be based in Ocumare where is located the our Co-packer Site.
Responsibilities:
Direct supervision of day-to-day operations at production centers (Co-packers).
Execute Supply planning to ensure product availability for local and export markets.
Oversee international trade logistics (Import/Export), coordinating with customs agents and freight forwarders.
Manage strategic rum inventories (aging, barrels, and finished goods), optimizing stock levels to meet long-term market forecasts.
Planning and procurement of barrels to ensure the continuity of the aging process and long-term stock sustainability.
Perform on-site physical oversight at co-packer facilities, including inventory counts of alcohol, raw materials, and finished products.
Represent the company before the tax authorities at the plant level, overseeing the review and signing of all legal acts related to rum movements, barrel aging, and exports. Manage operational tax requirements, including the strict control of fiscal stamps and the preparation and presentation of PVP manifests.
Manage the procurement of critical materials and negotiate with suppliers to maintain a continuous and cost-effective production flow.
Supervise dispatches, including bulk rum ISO-tanks for international transit and finished goods loading.
Requirements:
5+ years in Supply Chain roles (Planning, Comex, or Procurement) within FMCG.
Deep knowledge of the spirits production process, customs processes, liquor taxes, and advanced inventory management.
Excel and Power BI skills are required.
Multi-tasking ability, hands-on approach, and strong organizational skills.
Degree: Industrial Engineering, International Business, or Business Administration.
